Organization Description:

Located in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, America’s Grow-A-Row (AGAR) grows, gleans, and gives over 1.5 million pounds – or 6 million servings – of fresh, healthy fruits and vegetables annually to those in need throughout the Garden State, New York City, Eastern Pennsylvania, and beyond. They deliver nutritious produce to hunger relief agencies and at Free Farm Markets in under-resourced neighborhoods that lack access to fresh, affordable produce, in communities such as Camden, East Orange, Jersey City, Morristown, Newark, and Philadelphia. AGAR also educates people of all ages about the hunger crisis, nutrition and healthy eating, and agriculture.
